Keio Innovation Initiative established a venture capital fund on July 1 to invest in venture companies that utilize the results of Keio University’s research. With investments from financial institutions, institutional investors, business companies, CVCs, entrepreneurs, and others who agree with the purpose of the fund, the fund will invest in venture companies that utilize Keio University’s research results, mainly in the fields of IT integration, digital health, bioinformatics, and regenerative medicine, with the aim of creating new industries, contributing to society, and achieving a balance between social contribution and investment returns. The goal is to create new industries and achieve both social contribution and return on investment.
