JCCL, spun out of Kyushu University, has developed and is commercializing an innovative CO2 separation and recovery technology using an "amine-containing gel." Conventional CO2 separation and capture technologies have been challenged by high costs. However, this company’s technology significantly lowers those costs, offering an economical and effective method for CO2 reduction across a range of industries, including gas companies, waste treatment plants, and energy facilities. It is positioned as a key solution for achieving CO2 reduction goals and advancing carbon neutrality.
