Takemura graduated from Kyoto University, Faculty of Science / Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University.
She was engaged in consulting services in the medical and health fields at Mitsubishi Research Institute, Inc. She supported private companies in developing life science clusters, marketing pharmaceuticals and medical devices, new business planning of regenerative medicine-related industries, and the development of nursing care robots. She is also in charge of providing support to governments and local governments for university-originated business startups and serving as the secretariat for AMED-adopted projects.
In 2024, Takemura joined KII as a venture capitalist specializing in the medical healthcare field.
