Tomono graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Keio University.
After joining MUFG Bank, he worked as a corporate RM before engaging in sales and trading of foreign currency and bonds at the Market Business Headquarters. After switching to SBI Investment, he gained experience in venture capital. Tomono then moved to Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, where he engaged in direct investment business for startup companies in fields such as SaaS, healthcare, and deep tech, as well as LP investment work for BO/VC funds. He joined KII in 2023 with the desire to contribute to the social implementation and promotion of technology. He is responsible for investment in the digital technology field.
